Diversified Mineral and Energy Company
Sparton Resources Inc. is a diverse mineral and energy royalty company. Its primary goal is the acquisition and development of low risk projects in advanced stages of exploration- ultimately attracting the attention of senior mineral producers and increasing shareholder value. Since beginning its operations, Sparton has discovered over a dozen fruitful base metal acquisitions and some energy related businesses, including the Chebucto natural gas field in Eastern Canada and the Blizzard Uranium deposit in British Columbia, Canada. Areas of focus also include China, Mexico, and Nevada. In January 2007, Sparton announced its contract with the Xiaolongtang Guodian Power Company of Yunnan, China. These agreements will provide the premises to launch the extraction of uranium from waste coal ash, found at the company’s numerous thermal power stations. Through ongoing analysis, Sparton has determined annual coal ash production to contain approximately 145 tonnes of uranium oxide, valued at over $30 million USD. Sparton Resources Inc. continues to perform tests on uranium ash stations in China, as well as encouraging the clean up of potential environmental hazards in the respective areas. Sparton will succeed further from management fees and royalties and equity ownership in the company.
