Targeting Canada's Next Diamond Mine

Diamonds North Resources is a diamond exploration company, focusing on the strategic advancement of diamond opportunities in Canada. Founded in 2002, Diamonds North has assessed over 300 million acres of land in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut, and has more recently narrowed its search to 8 million promising acres.  This achievement alone has labeled Diamonds North one of the largest diamond project leaders in the nation. Diamonds North’s success in recent years is also result of the 100% owned Amaruk Project in Eastern Nunavut.

In 2007, Diamonds North implemented its most ambitious and vigorous diamond exploration agenda regarding the Amaruk Project. The company drill-tested 57 targets and found 17 new kimberlites, compared to its 2006 value of 26. Amidst its exploration of the Amaruk, Diamonds North discovered the Tuktu cluster, where 5-7 diamonds were produced for every kilogram of kimberlite found. A total of 1376 diamonds was produced in the area, and it continues to be a focus for explorations today.

Diamonds North Resources has defined Amaruk as one of the nation’s key diamond exploration properties. The company will be a key player in the diamond industry for years to come.
