Terrane Metals Corp. is a Canadian mineral exploration and development firm. Developing large-scale mineral sources, Terrane is notorious for its work at Mt. Milligan. Terrane Metals Corp. purchased the Mt. Milligan project from Placer Dome in July 2006. Prior to Terrane’s acquisition of the property, Placer Dome had spent millions of dollars into the expansion of the company and its precious metals production. Terrane is currently nearing the end of its two year feasibility study, costing $20 million. The feasibility study has predicted an annual metal production average amounting to 88 million pounds of copper and 217,000 ounces of gold at Mt. Milligan.
