Exploration and Development of Previously Operated Mines
Copper Mountain Mining Corporation is a BC resource company that hopes to put major copper and precious metals projects back into production. Because the company is involved in the exploration and development of previously operated mines, it is easier to complete the designs and begin production with existing infrastructure.
Currently, they are in the process of turning a historic mine site approximately 15 kilometres from Princeton into a “Super Pit”. This project will merge three existing pits for deeper, wider access for additional mineralization. A three pronged exploration strategy has been implemented to test historical resources in pits 1, 2, and 3, initiate drilling to expand these resources, and surveying the land to help guide deeper penetration. The Titan 24 is a geophysical survey of the area that will help with this project.
By 2010, the company hopes to have the Copper Mountain Project back into production and take advantage of the market.
