Aims On Producing Pure Silver

First Majestic Silver Corp. is a silver company focused on Mexico.  Many mining companies often focus on a variety of metals, but First Majestic specifically aims on producing pure silver.  Their goal is to become one of the largest silver producers in North America and is expecting to produce approximately 5 million ounces of silver in 2008. 

The company currently owns and operates three producing mines in Mexico: the La Parrilla Silver Mine, the San Martin Silver Mine and the La Encantada Silver Mine.  Each of these mines is expected to produce about 1.5-2.0 million ounces of silver in 2008.  First Majestic chose to do business with Mexico because there are many competitive advantages.

With an increased world demand for silver, First Majestic is taking advantage of the market with plans to expand production.  Nowadays, there are many uses for silver such as for cell phones, televisions, photography, coins, jewellery, soldering, and electroplating.
